LifeLore Terms of Use

1. Service Description

LifeLore is an AI-prompted memoir app. It guides you through a life-stage prompt tree to record memories (in text, voice, and photos), uses AI to organize them into chapters, and lets you export a PDF keepsake to share with family. The AI only organizes the real memories you provide; it does not add facts you did not supply.

2. Account & Sign-in

You can sign in with Sign in with Apple or an email magic link. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. If you detect unauthorized use, contact us immediately.

3. Your content belongs to you

The memories, recordings, and photos you record in LifeLore, along with the chapters generated from them and the keepsakes you export, are owned by you. You grant us a limited license solely to store and display this content on your device and — only when you actively trigger AI chapter synthesis — to process the relevant text in order to provide the service. We will not use your content for any other purpose, and we will not sell it.

4. AI-Generated Content

The AI chapter synthesis feature is designed to faithfully organize the real memories you record. The AI weaves content only from the memories you provide, and every generated passage can be traced back to your own words inside the app; you may reject, edit, or regenerate any passage at any time. That said, AI output may contain phrasing imperfections, and the final content is subject to your confirmation.

5. User Conduct

You may not use the app to record or generate unlawful, harmful, discriminatory, or rights-infringing content, and you may not impersonate others. If we detect violations, we may suspend or terminate your account.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

LifeLore Pro offers a monthly subscription ($4.99/month) and a yearly subscription ($19.99/year, including a 14-day free trial). The yearly plan can also be purchased as a one-time gift ($19.99). Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and auto-renew per their rules. You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, during which Pro remains usable. Canceling within the 14-day free trial incurs no charge. Refund policies follow Apple’s and Google’s respective rules.

7. Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all data at any time from in-app “Settings → Delete account”. This action is irreversible; see Section 5 of the Privacy Policy for details.

8. Intellectual Property

Content you generate with LifeLore belongs to you. The LifeLore app interface, brand assets, icons, and underlying technology belong to the LifeLore team.

9. Service Changes & Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the service at any time. We will notify users in advance, within the app, of material changes.

10. Disclaimer

LifeLore is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we make no express or implied warranty regarding uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation.

11. Governing Law

The interpretation and application of these terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the LifeLore developer is located, and, where not in conflict, by the relevant terms of the Apple App Store and Google Play.
